Size and weight: The frame, the vessels and the piping is completely built with stainless steel, the total structure has got these sizes: Wide 3,9 m (12.9 feet), Height 2,4 m (8.8 feet), Deep 2,4 m (7.8 feet). The Weight of the machinery is 3200 kg (7055 pounds). For this features we recommend Room sizes of 6,7x5,2 m (22x17feet) and Height of 4 m (13 feet).

Main Characteristics: This machine is certified with CE or UL Certified Enclosure, and these are some of the most important technical specifications: Voltage 460 AC-V or 400 AC-V, Frequency 60 Hz or 50 Hz, Installed Power 24 kW, Current 40 A.

Configurations: This machine is composed by two pumps, one for CO2 and another one for co-solvent, two extraction vessels, three separation vessels and separated chiller and heater. It can reach max pressure (Pmax) of 350 bar and max temperature (Tmax) of 85 °C. There are two pressure set-points: the first one is for extraction vessels, and the second one for separation vessels. There are 5 pressure gauges and voltage can be chosen on request.
Carbon dioxide is continually recycled with a close circuit for fluid recirculation. PLC on board, the system is connected with internet by an ethernet network connection, it's full automatic and it's equipped with touch screen and it's PED/CE or ASME/UL certified.

Pumps: There are two pumps, the most important is the CO2 pump, the carbon dioxide is the principal solvent for the extraction of apolar chemical compounds; and the secondary pump, which is used for the contemporary release in the process of polar or medium apolar co-solvents, useful for the extraction of chemical compounds with different degrees of polarity. At the condition of max pressure this pumps can ensure  a CO2 Flow of 200 kg/h, and Co-solvent Flow of 20 L/h.

The extraction process is based on small variations of solvent's (CO2) pressure and temperature. These critical operations are ensured by some heater exchangers, filled by water which is heated or cooled by separated and external Chiller and Heater. Also these components have some technical specifications like:
Chiller: Voltage/Frequency 3 Ph 460/60 V/Hz or 400/50 V/Hz, Installed Power 13,3/20,8 kW/A, Size (WxHxD) 73x140x185 cm (2,4x4,6x6,1 feet).
Heater: Voltage/Frequency 3 Ph 460/60 V/Hz or 400/50 V/Hz, Installed Power 37,1/58,2 kW/A, Size (WxHxD) 43x115x100 cm (1,4x3,8x3,2 feet), Water connection in/out 1¼" M.

Vessels Volumes:
Extractor volume 1 & 2: 48 L
Extraction basket volume 1 & 2: 40 L
Separator 1 volume: 10 L
Separators 2 & 3 volumes: 7 L
Accumulator volume: 90 L

Other specifications:
ASME certified safety valve for each vessel in isolated tubing from vessel.
